A Spectacular Waterfront Restaurant

The Sunset Cafe's Building was erected in the mid 60's as "Harbour North Yacht Club", with the addition of a bar in the 70's and remained so until the early 2000's. The building has remained opened as a special event facility until January 29, 2011 when the now owner Paul Trapani opened the Sunset Café. The modest bar overlooks the middle of the Elk River, displaying such scenes as only Mother Nature can provide, the budding of trees in the Spring, the fine Greenery along the river in Summer, turning of the leaves in Autumn, and a Winter Wonderland. All of the elements of nature providing an ever-changing thrill of delight to the scenery. You will see and hear boats of all kinds, from canoes to mammoth freighters. Our spectacular panoramic sunsets will have you coming back day after day. Here at our waterfront restaurant, we pride ourselves on friendly service. With a full bar, a diverse menu, and a fantastic view. We aim to please every customer. We are also a Package Store/Off Sales where we offer beer, wine, and liquor to go. Located at Harbour North Marina, at the West end of The C&D canal, our patrons coming by sea may dock at no charge, in any open slip during their stay. No answer at the cafe'?
